We are committed to instilling our sustainability approach as we continue to expand and adapt our global business.

Leather Repair Company is currently involved with operations within Scandinavia and the USA, which means that we are highly centred on ensuring that our practices meet the highest standards possible, (not only within our own operation) but that this also extends to our distributor locations globally.

 

We are immensely proud of the recent introduction of our new eco-friendly products.

Our range of cleaning cloths/applicator pads are manufactured using bamboo- fibre, making them a sustainability-focused, market leading product.

These are proving to be hugely in demand, as people are continually looking at ways in which they can play their own part in carbon footprint reduction.

 

As ‘sustainability’, and ‘eco-friendly’ are now such prevalent and vital considerations towards our environment, consumers are now choosing the products which they are confident will afford a better lifestyle for the children of future generations.

Our innovative technology and product development team are committed to delivering these very products.

 

With the above in mind, we are therefore delighted to announce that we have been awarded ISO 9001 and ISO 14001!

To offer some explanation as to what this realistically means to our company and most importantly, our clients- the following offers a brief insight into the accreditations:

 

ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard.

These independently awarded ISO Standards are now considered to be a key part of our society, as they ensure quality and safety in both products and services within the international trading platform.

 

Having a robust QMS, affords the opportunity for the company to continually monitor (and improve) all areas of the business, whilst allowing its primary focus to be maintained on what the company does best- in our case…Leather! (And more!)

 

The benefits of ISO 9001 include increased efficiency and the implementation of processes and procedures which are focused on delivering optimum quality to the client.

This also means that there will be increased revenue for the company, as this globally recognised standard offers the benchmark that customers will trust.

 

As systems and procedures undergo streamlining within the ISO standard, running costs to the company are often reduced- which in turn, not only contributes to the stability of the business, but also enables prices to be maintained at the most competitive level. 

This is something which has always been a keen focus for us at Leather Repair Company.

 

Along with our ISO 9001- we are also extremely proud to have also been awarded the ISO 14001.

 

The latter award is specifically focused on the adherence to standards which will help businesses to reduce their industrial waste and damage to the environment.
